Is It Flowers You’re After?

Have you ever realized how flowers are so uniquely similar to life? The way they start as seeds and how they grow fragile with certain needs in order to replenish and grow, then blooming into something more beautiful the stronger they get. Flowers can symbolize many aspects of life, such as lessons and reflections on growth, resilience, and beauty.

Just like flowers start as seeds and grow with time they resemble how God created us to be. We were created with purpose in our mother’s womb as seeds, but with each new day and with every new lesson we grow into something more beautiful. We often look back at things we have gone through and we hold on to it believing that our past is who we are. The truth is not that our past is who we are but it was something that was part of our life’s process. Everything that we have gone through didn’t always feel good or look good, and some things may have even been devastating but even through those toughest moments God sustained us with his grace to get through it. I often look at my past hurts, failures, and disappointments as lessons.

Though they may not have seemed like a lesson at that moment but with time I asked myself, what did I learn in that? and how can I use what I learned moving forward? Let me tell you, all situations are not easy but with prayer, trusting God, and believing him can definitely help with the process. I learned that just like flowers I can be something beautiful with God’s help even after the storms of life made me feel like I would wither and die.
